SLOVENIA, May 30 - On 5 March 2025, the Government of the Republic of Slovenia, based on a resignation statement, relieved Anthony Tomažin of his duties as Honorary Consul of the Republic of Slovenia in Sydney, Australia. The procedures related to this matter were concluded on 29 May 2025.
Individuals from New South Wales can continue to direct their inquiries to Honorary Vice-Consul Mark Stariha via email at slovenian.consulate.nsw@gmail.com, or directly to the Embassy of the Republic of Slovenia in Canberra at consular.canberra@gov.si.
The new physical premises of the consulate will commence operations following the appointment of a new Honorary Consul. The public will be informed of further developments in due course.
